Terms of Use
Effective date: April 24, 2026
These Terms of Use apply to the Morse Watcher iOS app and the Morse Watcher website. By using the app or website, you agree to these terms.
Morse Watcher is an iPhone utility that helps users detect Morse code from visible flashing light sources and send Morse code using a supported device flashlight.
The app is intended as a general-purpose communication and educational tool. Performance may vary depending on visibility, distance, ambient light, device hardware, camera quality, flashlight output, and signal stability.
Morse Watcher is not marketed or provided as emergency-response software, life-safety software, navigation software, or a guaranteed communications system for critical situations.
As of April 25, 2026, Morse Watcher offers monthly and yearly auto-renewing subscription options, as well as a lifetime purchase option, through the App Store.
Available features, pricing, and any trial details will be shown to you in the app or through the App Store before purchase. Unless otherwise stated at the time of purchase, monthly and yearly subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. A lifetime purchase is a one-time payment that does not auto-renew.
Apple handles billing, renewals, and cancellations for App Store subscriptions. You can manage or cancel your subscription through your Apple account subscription settings. Deleting the app does not cancel an active subscription. To avoid renewal charges, cancellation must be completed before the renewal date shown by Apple. Lifetime purchases are managed through your App Store account and do not require cancellation.
Except where required by law or expressly stated by Apple, completed purchases are non-refundable. Pricing may change for future purchases or future renewal periods, and any applicable taxes may also apply.
You are responsible for using Morse Watcher lawfully, safely, and in a way that does not interfere with other people, property, vehicles, aircraft, vessels, or emergency operations.
You agree not to use the app in any situation where delayed, inaccurate, interrupted, or failed decoding or transmission could reasonably lead to injury, property damage, or other serious harm.
You are also responsible for obtaining any permissions needed before directing your camera toward private property, people, or restricted areas, and before transmitting light signals in locations where such use may be regulated or unsafe.
We may update, improve, suspend, or discontinue features of Morse Watcher at any time. We do not guarantee that every feature will remain available on every device, iOS version, or App Store storefront.
Morse Watcher is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, perfect decoding accuracy, transmission success, or fitness for any particular purpose.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Morse Watcher and its developer will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, revenue, profits, goodwill, or business opportunities arising out of or related to your use of the app or website.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to Morse Watcher will not exceed the amount you paid for the app, if any.
